As the tagline says, The Weekly Share is about chronicling my experience as a member of a Community Supported Agriculture Farm (CSA). The CSA that my family joined is called Goldfinch Farm and you can learn more about the farm at the Goldfinch Farm website.  Suffice it to say that on a weekly basis, during the growing season, we receive as share of that week’s harvest.  How much is in a share?  How does a share change as the season progresses?  Is it more or less expensive then grocery store produce?  These questions and more are topics I intend to explore with The Weekly Share.

As The Weekly Share progresses I hope to also explore related topics such as local harvesting and buying, greener living, and sustainability.
